To give hope and encouragement to veterans who are facing challenges from having served the United States of America.
The Diamond Posse, a veteran outreach program for the non profit organization Accident Scene Management, has partnered with NEADS Canines for Combat Veterans Program. NEADS is a nonprofit organization that trains service dogs for disabled veterans and others in need. They utilize incarcerated individuals to train the dogs in their early lives. This is supportive in rehabilitation which is proven to decrease recidivisms.
Diamond Posse is gearing their fund raising efforts to provide a veteran with a service dog. They will be at various motorcycle rallies and events including Arizona Bike Week, March 30-April 3, 2011 and Sturgis Rally, Aug. 5-14, 2011 and the Milwaukee Rally Sept. 1-4, 2011. Diamond Posse will have booths set up to meet, greet and spread awareness for our cause. These women have deep heart felt gratitude for veterans who have sacrificed, and made it possible for them to celebrate their own personal freedom. In 2010, the Diamond Posse rode their Harley’s every day of National Armed Forces Week to honor our veterans. They hope to share their passion for riding and support those who have served the United States of America. The public is invited to join the Diamond Posse as they ride cross country to join Gail’s Harley-Davidson’s 9-11 Tribute Rally September 10-11, 2011. Check out our routes from various starting points and come out to say hello to these women. Better yet, join us as we ride to raise funds, thank and honor our United States Veterans.
